All of us at Herzog Wine Cellars are humbly grateful for our recent recognition this week by Wally’s, Zagat’s highest rated wine shop in Los Angeles. Here is an excerpt:

Our red wind ‘find’ is the truly remarkable, extremely-limited production 2009 Baron Herzog Mt. Veeder Cabernet Sauvignon. Enter this beauty in any non-kosher tasting of 2009 Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons, and we assure you its quality will rival any of those in the $75-$150 price category. Precociously aromatic and approachable now, its sophistication provides instant pleasure, but its mountain-grown charms will continue to mature and offer added nuance for years to come. Alas, only a few hundred cases were produced, but we made certain to corner our fair share to offer you. Bringing this noble wine to the table will guarantee that both you – and the wine – will be the dual centers of attention!
