Excited today…reviewing my wine notes for winemaker’s dinner at Tierra Sur tonight…pairing 5 of our big lush wines w/ Todd’s food-loving it!

Getting the wines ready for this evening’s Limited Winemaker’s Dinner. These are five very special wines. They will of course be paired with a wonderful meal created by Chef Aarons.

All of us here at Herzog know that our wonderful winemaker, Joe Hurliman, is an exciting, unique, and overall likeable guy. We’re proud and excited that local magazine, 805 Living, also thought so. Welcome to The Grapevine, and welcome to the brand-new, much-anticipated, long-time-coming, beautiful website for Herzog Wine Cellars and Tierra Sur Restaurant!

For those of you who have ever redone an existing website, or built a new one from scratch – you know how challenging this can be. This new website is the result of over 15 months of work and collaboration between our wonderful web designers, the thoughtful and creative staff here at Herzog, and our faithful IT guy.

We are thrilled to unveil this site to you – our loyal customers, our beloved Wine Club members, and to anyone who happens to stumble upon Herzog Wine Cellars’ site. The Grapevine is a blog of sorts, a way to keep you all updated on what is happening with us here at Herzog and Tierra Sur. There will also be thoughts from ouir Winemaker, Joe Hurliman, recent news and awards, special events, and anything else that is pertinent to share with you!

We hope that you will check The Grapevine often, and will also take this opportunity to explore  our new site. It’s a wealth of information: history, current events, pictures, menus, and ideas! It’s an opportunity to shop our beautiful selection of wine, gifts, food products and accessories.
